Patricia James is a Medicine Woman of Seminole heritage. Patricia was adopted by a Cheyenne Medicine Man and traditionally trained as a Pipe Carrier and Priest. She is a cross-cultural expert whose work is informed by a three-decade mentorship with Angeles Arrien and initiation in multiple indigenous spiritual traditions and transpersonal healing modalities including breathwork. Ms. James is a teacher, mentor and consultant for the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Certificate Program in Psychedelic Therapy and Research (CPTR). She is also trained as a MAPS therapist and serves as a member of the Women's Visionary Congress Board.

Ms. James focuses on bridging ancient wisdom with our contemporary times, bringing practical application to the mystical, and weaving a new “Braided Way” to live life well. She compliments her knowledge with over two decades in public administration. Ms. James maintains a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area that focuses on psycho-spiritual mentoring, integration, teaching, speaking and ceremonies.
