Hadas Alterman, JD

As Director of Government Affairs and Field Infrastructure for the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association, Hadas works to safely integrate psychedelic-assisted therapy into the US healthcare system. Prior to joining APPA, Hadas was a founding partner of Plant Medicine Law Group LLP, a law firm that works with infrastructure, ecosystem, and culture building companies and organizations in the psychedelic industry.

She is a Board Member of the American Psychedelic Practitioner's Association and a Board Member of the Psychedelic Bar Association, and was a founder of New Yorkers for Mental Health Alternatives. Hadas was born and raised in Jerusalem and the San Francisco Bay Area, and currently resides in Brooklyn. She has a J.D. from Berkeley Law and a B.A. in Community Studies/Agriculture & Social Justice from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
